Shipping & Returns
Global Wholesale Freight & Claim Policies
1. Global Shipping Policy
As a global textile manufacturer, dm-alpha ships bulk orders from our manufacturing facility directly to commercial ports and warehouses worldwide. We offer flexible shipping arrangements to suit your logistical needs:
FOB (Free On Board)
Under FOB terms, dm-alpha handles all local transport and customs clearance in the country of origin, safely loading your goods onto the vessel. The buyer is responsible for ocean freight, insurance, and import clearance at the destination port.
CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight)
Under CIF terms, dm-alpha arranges and pays for the ocean freight and insurance to the named port of destination. The buyer assumes responsibility for import duties, taxes, and final inland transport upon arrival.
LCL and FCL Shipments
We accommodate both Less than Container Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL - 20ft, 40ft, 40ft HC) shipments based on your order volume.
2. Production and Transit Lead Times
Lead times vary significantly based on order volume, customization requirements, and current factory capacity. Standard unbranded wholesale orders generally require 3 to 5 weeks for manufacturing. Custom OEM orders (specific dyes, custom GSM, embroidery) may require 5 to 8 weeks.
Ocean freight transit times depend on the destination port (e.g., 20-30 days to Europe/UK, 30-45 days to North America). A precise estimated timeline will be provided with your formal quotation.
3. Sample Orders
We highly recommend ordering physical samples before placing a large-volume commercial order. We provide sample swatch kits and prototype products (including custom embroidery samples) via express air courier (DHL, FedEx). Sample costs and courier fees are borne by the buyer, but are fully deductible from your final bulk order invoice.
4. Returns and Claims Policy
Because dm-alpha operates exclusively on a Business-to-Business (B2B) model manufacturing custom bulk orders, we do not accept returns for "change of mind" or buyer's remorse.
Defective or Non-Conforming Goods
We maintain strict quality control at our mill. However, if you receive goods that are materially defective or significantly deviate from the approved sample (outside of the standard manufacturing tolerances detailed in our Terms & Conditions), you must file a claim within 14 days of receiving the shipment at your facility.
To file a claim, please provide:
- Your Order Invoice and Bill of Lading.
- Clear photographic or video evidence of the defects.
- A detailed count of the affected items.
Upon verification of a legitimate manufacturing defect, dm-alpha will, at our sole discretion, either:
- Provide a proportional credit or refund for the defective goods.
- Replace the defective goods in your next scheduled shipment.
